Blender Redesign
Finding ways to improve an existing product
An immersion blender was disassembled, measured and studied to determine the manufacturing process, materials used and possible areas for improvement. A new design was then developed using the knowledge gained from the process with inspiration from the current market.
Individual Project - 2019 (2nd Year - Semester two)

Final Design
Detailing the features of the final product.
There were some small changes to the design at this stage to improve functionality as well as the overall aesthetic. The trigger shape was changed to be more rounded and feel better in the hand, but also to better match the overall form. The lock button design was also changed from being positioned on the side, to below the trigger. This makes it easier to press without changing hand positions, and simplifies the design.
